You are permitted to use AI tools to review construction methods and terminologies associated with
trade measurements, acknowledging the limitations of AI-generated information, you must analyse
the information and evaluate the sources to ensure the validity of the information. Include in the
reference list all source materials used.

Submission:
In advance of the due date:
1. Download the drawings and task sheet.
2. Ensure access to the CostX estimating software is available.
On or before the due date:
3. Scan your completed cover sheet and query list (if applicable), print the Bills of Quantities for the
Masonry and Carpentry trade sections, and combine all the files into a single PDF. Please note that
each group member must sign and submit the cover sheet.
4. Download CostX files.
5. Name all files - CostX and PDF files (BOQs and Assumptions) - using your GROUP NUMBER, e.g.,
Group1.exf. Do not add any additional information to the file name.
6. Upload the BOQs and Assumptions (if any) on the Turnitin submission portal and CostX files on
SafeAssign.
Students requesting an extension on medical or compassionate grounds need to complete the Application
for Extension of Assessment form and submit this, along with any appropriate documentation, to the
Subject Coordinator before the due date of the assessment task.
You need to work in PAIRS for this assignment. Only one submission is required for both students,
and both students will receive the same mark. Also, please provide both students' ID numbers in
your submissions. No two submissions should be the same.
Penalties will apply to late submissions and plagiarism.
