PSYC3001/6831: Advanced Psychological Measurement 

 Online Quiz 2 Assessment Task Information Document Online Quiz 2 is the fourth Assessment Item for PSYC3001/6831, due in Week 12. The test will contain 25 multiple choice questions relating to the contents from Lectures 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 (delivered in Weeks 7-11) as well as the associated key readings. Online Quiz 2 is worth 10% of the final course mark. The quiz will be marked out of 100 (4 marks per question). Online Quiz 2 will be available to students for completion during Week 12 in the ‘Assessment’ section of the course BlackBoard site. Online Quiz 2 will be available from 9.00am on Monday October 18, 2021 until 11.59pm on Sunday October 24, 2021. Quiz submissions are due by 11.59pm on Sunday October 24, 2021. Submissions after the designated time on the due date, without an approved extension of time, will be reduced by 10% of the possible maximum mark for that assessment item for each day or part day that the assessment item is late. Note: this applies equally to week and weekend days. In summary: Online Quiz 2 is to be completed by students during Week 12, prior to the due date, in their own time, online, via the course BlackBoard site. The quiz will be conducted under exam conditions: • Questions will not be provided in advance. • Students are required to complete the quiz on their own, without consultation with others. • Students may have up to 2 attempts at the quiz. The highest score will be awarded. • Students will have 30-minutes to complete the quiz. • Students are not permitted to save their responses partway through and return later. The quiz must be completed in its entirety in the one session. • The quiz will ‘time out’ after 30 minutes and responses will be automatically submitted once the permitted time for completion has passed. • Students may choose to submit their responses prior to the 30-minute mark. • Confirmation of submission will be provided on screen. • The quiz will be open-book. Students may access course resources, summary/study notes, and other resources during the test session. Marks will be released immediately after each quiz attempt. Feedback of results will be provided in the Grade Centre of the course BlackBoard site once all students have completed the assessment item. Additional Information Please note the content of the Week 12 lecture will largely be a revision lecture and information for the End of Semester Exam so will not be expressly assessed in Online Quiz 2. The revision content presented may however assist in your preparation for the quiz. Questions will be drawn from a random pool of items. A set of 25 multiple choice questions per attempt will be randomly selected by the software. A practice test will be made available to students. Students are encouraged to complete the practice test prior to completing the formal assessment.
